Explorean is our design proposal for a luxurious apartment building located in Arco da Calheta, overlooking the western coast of Madeira Island. Set on 2500m2 of land, at an altitude of 320m above sea level, the project is designed to mimic the stepping surrounding landscape, seamlessly integrating it into its surroundings.

As the landscape suddenly drops from street level, the access to the building is from the roof level, with subsequent levels stepping downwards, with a large sun deck area and infinity swimming pool at lowest level.

Explorean is composed of 9 apartments: 2x 3 bedroom apartments at penthouse level, each with their own infinity pools; 3x 2 bedroom apartments at level -1 (2 of which have their own infinity pools); and 3x 2 bedroom apartments and 1x 1 bedroom apartment at lowest level.

Each unit has extensive terraces with integrated furniture, landscaping, and plunge pools to enjoy the breath-taking views and sunsets over the valleys and Atlantic Ocean.

The building also comes with its own gym, condominium rooms, storage facilities, and ample gardens to enjoy.
