The Vista Apartments are located in a prestigious area of Funchal, boasting unrivalled views of Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean. The building had been left incomplete for over a decade, and with a new owner we were invited to provide a contemporary and fresh look of the exteriors, as well as design all the luxurious apartments within.

With only eight apartments, the building required significant rethinking from its original design. New cladding was introduced to unify volumes, allowing for the expression of windows and balconies to frame the Vistas beyond.

The interiors provide bright and airy spaces, with an element of class that is reflected in the use of timber finishes in bedroom spaces contrasted with large panel calcutta marble in the kitchen and bathrooms.

There is an ever present communication between interior and exterior spaces, with a focus on absolute comfort, contemporary simplicity and the appreciation of the incredible views beyond.
